Bullying, Cyberbullying, and LGBTQ Students

The increased utilization of technology among youth (and, well, just about everyone) has resulted in bullying behaviors moving online. As a result, cyberbullying perpetrated against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth has emerged. This document explores what the research says about the problem at hand, and also includes relevant strategies that youth-serving adults can implement.

This resource is part of a Collection of similar guidelines entitled "Combatting Cyberbullying in a Technology-Driven World", and it is linked to the Collection "Combatting Cyberbullying during COVID-19" supporting response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
