Assessment of Development Results in Guatemala

The Evaluation Office of the UNDP conducts independent country-level evaluations called Assessment of Development Results (ADR) which assess the relevance and strategic positioning of UNDP's support and its contributions to a country's development. The purpose of an ADR is to contribute to organizational accountability and learning and strengthen the programming and effectiveness of UNDP. This report presents the findings and recommendations of the ADR that was conducted in Guatemala, covering the period of two country cooperation frameworks from 2001 to 2008. Two main aspects were considered in the assessment: the contribution to the achievement of development results (programme area) and strategic positioning.
