Shelter Meeting 23
Shelter Centre, in collaboration with our host, IFRC and the IASC Global Shelter Cluster, as well as our sponsors' InterAction and USAID/ BHA, took pleasure in convening Shelter Meeting 23 on 23rd June 2023, hosted by IFRC at Chemin des Crêts 17, 1209 Genève, Switzerland.
The Shelter Meeting is the longest-running discussion space for the sector, always involving: local and development actors; and academia; governments; IASC CCCM, GPC, and GWC clusters; non-cluster agencies such as MSF and ICRC; donors; and IFIs.

Shelter Meeting 22
Shelter Meeting 22 was hosted live, globally and in-person in Geneva, on Friday 8th July, 2022. 280 participants registered online and in-person.
The theme for this year was localisation. Presentations were held by local non-governmental organisations, international non-governmental organisations, Red Cross Movement member organisations, UN agencies, IASC Global WASH Cluster, donor representatives from ECHO FCDO and USAID BHA, and academic institutions.
A special thank you to IASC Global Shelter Cluster, IFRC,UNHCR for hosting us and InterAction, USAID/BHA for funding this year’s Shelter Meeting.
The Shelter Meeting has developed and supported a global community of practice of humanitarian technical practitioners through a biannual conference, with participation in-person and through live video conferencing. Presentations and discussion worldwide include the prioritisation of common activities, sharing good practice and the peer review of projects. Tabulated below is the schedule of events that happened in the Meeting hyperlinked with related resources used.
AGENDA
