Protection Technical Guidelines

Protection aims to ensure the full and equal respect for the rights of all individuals, regardless of age, gender or ethnic, social, religious or other background. This requires a common understanding of protection and the means by which it is achieved. This collection outlines the status of protection efforts for different countries, the key approaches and core principles that should guide and underpin all protection efforts and provides for resources for personnel working on protection. It includes resources from the wider field of protection as well as specific areas such as Anti-Trafficking, Child Protection and Gender-Based-Violence (GBV). Please send suggestions for additional content for this Channel to info@humanitarianlibrary.org, or create your own Collection on the Library!
