Natural Disaster Management in Mozambique

The "Natural Disaster Management in Mozambique" Collection, aimed at improving natural disaster management outcomes. This Collection compiles localised knowledge on the Mozambican context, i.e., its heat wave hazard distribution, its seismic wave distribution, its landslide hazard distribution, its geography, and its national idiosyncrasies, among others.

Following these localisation efforts, the Collection includes several resources in Portuguese.

Within this collection you will be able to find resources published by the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), the World Meteorological Organization, African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (AC,United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat, World Health Organization (WHO, Foreign - Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Norwegian Red Cross, Global Risk Identification Program, Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Calamidades, República de Moçambique, República de Moçambique, and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), among others.
