Good Practice on WASH

According to WHO, "lack of water, sanitation and hygiene promotion increases the risk of diarrhoea, which kills approximately 2.2 million people every year, as well as trachoma (an eye infection that can lead to blindness), and other illnesses." The "Best Practice on WASH" Channel gives guidelines and tools to be able to provide WASH services and programs to satisfy the needs of exposed and vulnerable populations. This channel is organised as follows: 1) WASH and Health Guidelines; 2) Hygiene Promotion Guidance; 3) Improved Sanitation Facilities; 4) WASH: Sanitation Resources; 5) Needs Assessment and Baseline Surveys for WASH in Emergencies; 6) Guidelines On the Treatment Of Wastewater; 7) Child-Friendly Spaces and WASH; and 8) Climate Change Resistant Infrastructure.
