This consultation, Pride in the Humanitarian System (PitHS), seeks to address the inclusion gap that LGBTQ communities face through achieving four objectives: 1) develop a common understanding between stakeholders of the experiences of LGBTQ communities in disasters, emergencies and crises, and of the barriers to and enablers of the promotion and protection of their rights in humanitarian response, 2) facilitate learning and sharing of good practices from the Asia and the Pacific, 3) facilitate opportunities for partnership development, and 4) develop regional workplans to guide post-consultation effort to make humanitarian preparedness and response more inclusive of LGBTQ people. This resource is part of the collection "LGBTIQ+ protection and inclusion in humanitarian action". Collections are monitored daily and new content is added.
