This report outlines the findings of mapping research that documents the policy,legislation and action plans on ageing and older people in 26 countries across the Asia and Pacific regions. Policy explicitly addressing older people and advancing health and well-being was found in 22/26 countries. Health is the sector with the most in-depth policy of the areas considered in the review.
