This is an investigation carried out in 5 different cities: Adjumani, Kyangawali, in Uganda; Baharka, Iraq; Loralai, Pakistan in order to understand variation in types and causes of displacement. To extend possible common characteristics with similar cases. The methodology implemented and sample characteristics are also detailed. This study points priorities for future research to better understand the risk for older people in protracted displacement. One area for study is the effects age may have on the prevalence of diverse forms of violence.
