 Amnesty International expresses its deepest sympathies to all those affected by the earthquakes and acknowledges the tireless efforts of volunteers and first responders in search and rescue operations in such difficult circumstances.Aid has been slow in coming and more than two weeks after the initial quakes, the needs of people and communities in the two countries continue to grow.
